Dr. Nanda Mamane earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University (NSU), where she also completed her postdoctoral residency. She completed her APA-accredited doctoral internship in Consultation/Liaison Services at Broward Health Medical Center. Her experience spans the full lifespan—from preschoolers to older adults—allowing her to approach each client with a deep understanding of developmental needs. When she is not seeing clients, Dr. Mamane serves as an adjunct professor and intensive supervisor at NSU’s College of Psychology.

Nanda Mamane, PhD is a licensed psychologist (PY12404) who provides compassionate, evidence-based care to children, adults, and families. She has worked in a wide range of settings, helping children navigate trauma and medical stressors and supporting adults managing chronic physical and emotional challenges.

Dr. Mamane has a special interest in grief and bereavement, focusing on how individuals and families make sense of loss and rebuild meaning. She strives to create a warm, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow.

Her therapeutic style is integrative and personal. She draws from approaches like CBT, DBT, IPT, psychodynamic therapy, and mindfulness, always tailoring treatment to meet each person’s unique needs. Known for being direct yet thoughtful, she brings honesty and compassion together to help clients make real, lasting change.

In addition to therapy, Dr. Mamane provides comprehensive psychological testing across the lifespan, including gifted and psychoeducational evaluations, bariatric and pre-surgical evaluations, and personality assessment. Her assessments help clarify diagnoses, guide treatment planning, and highlight each client’s strengths and learning needs.
