Dr. Nathalie Bello, LMFT hablo español!

Dr. Nathalie Bello is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT 2319) and a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. Nathalie is currently the Vice President of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2002 from the University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Secondary Education. Dr. Bello earned her Master of Science Degree n 2004 and her Doctorate of Philosophy Degree in 2015, both in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University where she was an Adjunct Professor.  She is also a Florida Qualified Supervisor for Registered Marriage and Family Therapy Interns and for Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns.

Dr. Nathalie Bello began working with children in 1999 as a preschool teacher, and later on as an elementary substitute teacher and teachers’ assistant. Her passion for assisting children and families live a happy and peaceful life led her to pursue a degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. From 2004 to 2010, Dr. Bello was the Executive Director of SUPERB, an award-winning anti-bullying program in Broward County schools created by Nova Southeastern University. She worked with the Broward County Public School District to conduct research, publish articles, and create anti-bullying policies.

In addition, Dr. Bello has supervised and trained over 50 marriage and family therapy Master students in proper therapy techniques.  Dr. Bello has also worked as a Parent-Child Behavioral Modifier for the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital and a therapist for the Broward County Department of Juvenile Justice. She is an Educational Planning Specialist and is certified in Children’s Functional Assessment Rating Scales. In 2009, Dr. Bello opened the Therapeutic Solutions Counseling Center in South Florida. Dr. Bello has served as a Board Member of the South Broward/North Dade Chapter of CHADD.

Throughout her career, Dr. Bello has seen over 1,000 clients of all ages. She works with individuals, families, children, adolescents and young adults dealing with a wide range of issues. In addition to her expertise in Bullying issues, Dr. Bello is highly trained and skilled in a wide range of issues including: Depression, Stress, Co-Parenting, Anger Management, Communication Problems, Grief, Self-Esteem, Work Problems, Educational Issues/ College Planning, Co-Worker Issues, Blended Families, Pre-Marital Counseling, Life After Children, Life After Divorce, Peer Relations, Anxiety, Life Decisions, Empty Nest Syndrome, Elderly and Caregiver Issues, Trauma from Sexual Abuse, and Adult Trauma from Child Abuse.  She is certified in Collaborative Divorce as well.
