    Staci Lee Schnell is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida (MT 2779), Arizona (LMFT 15716), and Massachusetts (LMFT10000176) as well as a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is the Immediate Past President of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the current Co-Coordinator of the South Broward/North Dade Chapter of CHADD. Staci is an honored member of Delta Kappa, the International Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society.  She also maintains professional memberships with the Anxiety and Depression Association of America and Postpartum Support International.

    Staci received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Child Development from Florida State University in 1991. She then went on to earn her Master of Science Degree in Family Therapy and a Clinical Specialist Degree in Family Systems Health Care from Nova Southeastern University in 1993.  Staci is also a Florida State Qualified Supervisor for  Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Interns and Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns.

    As a therapist, Staci has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults providing individual, couples and family counseling. As a result, she specializes in  ADHDAnxiety Disorders, Couples TherapyPostpartum Counseling and Medical Family Therapy. Staci is trained in Family Systems Theories and typically practices Brief Systemic Therapy (MRI),  She also utilizes  The Gottman Method,  Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Moreover, Staci focuses on what is the best fit for her clients.

    Her passion is working with Couples that want to stay together.  She has written and published several articles on couples issues.  For example, her articles are on dealing with affair recovery, understanding and living with a spouse with ADHD, Anxiety, Postpartum, and PTSD.

    Staci understands that dealing with the challenges and stresses of life can be difficult. She knows that coping with emotional pain, medical issues, and family problems can seem overwhelming. Therefore, Staci enjoys helping to alleviate these issues and stresses in a non-judgmental, nurturing, and comfortable environment.  Most importantly, Staci helps to empower and encourage her clients to make changes for the betterment of their lives.

    Besides being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Staci is the President of SLS Therapy, Inc. as well as the Clinical Director and Owner of the Counseling and Wellness Center of South Florida. She has been married for over 25 years and additionally has two young adult children. Staci is currently accepting new clients and subsequently offers daytime and evening appointments.
