Since 2009, Nyla has worked with teens and adults from culturally diverse backgrounds in various settings including child welfare, sexual assault, domestic violence, violence intervention and prevention, and healthcare agencies. Following her passion, Nyla became a therapist to help people feel more satisfied in their relationships by loving themselves, choosing healthy attachments, communicating effectively, and setting boundaries that honor themselves and others in a culturally-sensitive manner.
Nyla’s work experience and training helps her to view human concerns within various systems or contexts.
