Nika Minaeva, MBA, M.A.
Nika Minaeva is a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMT3571). She obtained her first Master’s degree in Business Administration, and also received a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family at Bethel Seminary.
As a multicultural, diversity-informed Christian therapist Nika focuses on the strengths that her clients bring. She is a Gottman trained marriage and family therapist that helps partners develop strategies for preventing and solving conflicts, increasing intimacy and improving communication.
Nika has extensive experience with mental health and addiction treatment, gained through her work at rehabilitation facilities. She has experience working in both, outpatient and inpatient levels of care. Nika can help clients identify the roots of their anxiety and depression so that they can heal and move forward.
she believes that family dynamics impact all aspects of our lives and without proper attunement and concentrated efforts, relationships become fraught with complications.
Nika works with individuals and couples experiencing stress/anxiety, depression, and addictions. She also addressed relationship and intimacy issues. Her approach is warm and collaborative, using various evidence-based techniques such as Bowen, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution focused Therapy, and The Gottman Method to provide a safe space for growth and change.
