Joele Amster is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT5089). She has a Bachelor of Education from Barry University and is a Board Certified Teacher in Elementary Education with over 25 years of classroom experience.  Joele went on to receive her Masters in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.

As a teacher, Joele became passionate about working with children and their families to help them pave the ways to open communication and healthy relationships which led her to further her education in Family Therapy.  She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is the current Secretary of the South Broward/ North Dade Chapter of CHADD.

Joele is trained in Family Systems Theories and practices Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Play Therapy.  She specializes in Family Therapy, Children and Adolescent Therapy, Parenting and Couples Therapy.

Mrs. Amster is a mother of two teenaged kids and has been married for over 20 years.  Her personal experiences along with her professional background enables her to provide a safe and nurturing environment. Joele helps her clients develop better communication skills, healthy relationships and a place to find and recognize their authentic self.
