Anthony Stracuzzi, M.S., LMFT
Anthony (Tony) Stracuzzi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT 5060) with years of experience working with individuals, children, teens, and families.
As a therapist, he believes in creating a safe and collaborative environment for his clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. His approach is client-centered, which means that he works collaboratively with his clients to identify their goals and develop a treatment plan that is specially tailored to fit their unique needs.
He has extensive experience working with individuals on a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, and life transitions. He uses evidence-based techniques, such as Collaborative Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, to help individuals develop coping skills, process difficult emotions, and improve their overall well-being.
In addition to working with individuals, he also has extensive experience working with children, teens, and families dealing with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and life transitions. He uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Play Therapy, Art Therapy, and Narrative story telling Therapy, to help children and teens express their emotions and develop coping skills.
Tony has a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University where he graduated with high honors and he is a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. In addition to his clinical work, he has extensive research experience from Florida Atlantic University, where he conducted research on the mental and physical effects of stress, virtual reality, and hostility/stress related to video and virtual game use. This experience has given him a deep understanding of the mind-body connection and how stress and technology can impact mental health.
