    Alexandra Haves, MS, EdS, LMHC

    Alexandra Haves (she/her) is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH 24381). She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and a Minor in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Alexa earned both a Master of Science Degree and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling and Human Services with a Specialization in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida State University, where she was the secretary of Chi Sigma Iota (International Honor Society for Counseling Students). She is currently enrolled at Nova Southeastern University pursuing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.

    Ms. Haves has experience working with clients with mood disorders, anxiety, personality and neurodevelopmental disorders. Alexa enjoys working with children, adolescents, and young adults. She is interested in helping individuals develop healthy coping skills for issues such as anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, and self-esteem.

    Alexa primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral techniques, REBT, and ACT. Depending on individuals’ specific needs, she also likes to utilize other evidence based techniques to fit each individual client. Alexa strives to create a nonjudgmental and comforting environment for each individual to help reach their goals.
