Michelle Bennett, M.S., LMHC, LPC

Michelle Bennett, M.S., LMHC, LPC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida (MH20279) and a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina (LPC.8429). After spending 20 years in the legal field, Michelle earned her master’s degree in counseling at Nova Southeastern University. She is a member of NSU’s chapter of Psi Chi and Phi Kappa Phi honor societies.
Michelle has experience working with adults both individually and in groups. She has worked with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder and personality disorders. Michelle has helped clients navigate identity development, interpersonal relationship issues, grief, job loss, suicidal ideation and stress management.
Long before obtaining her master’s degree, Michelle had a passion for the mental health field and the empowerment that therapy can provide a person to make healthy changes in their lives. Some of these changes include a higher self-esteem, increased confidence, being comfortable with setting healthy boundaries and the ability to love and accept oneself. Michelle primarily utilizes CBT and DBT skills when working with clients but tailors her sessions based on the individual client’s needs and desires.
