Ellen Rondino is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MT3775).  Ellen graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She has held various executive management positions in the healthcare field involving consulting, corporate training, professional development, and career counseling.  Ellen earned a Master of Science in Employment Law prior to completing her Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.  She is a Pre-Clinical Fellow of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, a member of the Broward Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a previous board member of the South Broward/North Dade chapter of CHADD . Ellen is a certified SYMBIS pre-marital counselor.

Upon completion of her Marriage and Family Therapy degree, Ellen has taken her experience of supporting, coaching and mentoring in the workplace and transferred those skills to the clinical setting.  She believes that everyone’s life journey can be hard at times and we all struggle with balancing the demands of life.  We may find ourselves not being able to cope with life’s everyday stressors, the past or present, or have lost the hope for healing and growth. Ellen’s passion is to help people navigate through life when the challenges and stress of family, relationships, children, grief, trauma or career become difficult to manage. She works in collaboration with her clients to help change destructive patterns, identify new solutions and inner strengths, learn new communication styles, or simply improve relationship skills.

Ms. Rondino draws from clinical approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT).  She utilizes The Gottman Method. Ellen has the ability to use different therapy approaches to fit the needs of her clients. She incorporates the use of horses and nature to help clients learn about themselves, others and uncover emotions and solutions through Equine Psychotherapy.
